SANTA CLARA, Calif. – Playing against a conference-unbeaten ranked team, LMU women's soccer (4-11-2, 3-4-0 WCC) was unable to pull off the road upset on Saturday afternoon. The #23 Broncos (11-5-2, 5-0-2 WCC) won 3-0 after the Lions limited them to just one goal through the first hour.
 
Santa Clara opened the scoring with a 15^th minute goal by Izzy D'Aquila, her first of two on the day.
 
The score line remained the same until D'Aquila headed in her second goal of the game in the 63^rd minute.

The Broncos added their third goal in the 75^th minute to take the game after outshooting LMU 22-3.

Sadie Kenny recorded all nine of the game's saves.

The final week of the season brings University of Portland to Sullivan Field on Wednesday night before the Lions close out the year at BYU on Saturday night.
