The Loyola Marymount University Lions men's and women's cross country teams head to Cal State Fullerton to compete in the Titan Invitational on Friday, Oct. 25. The women's 5k begins at 5:15 p.m. while the men's 8k is set for 5:50 p.m. The start and finish of both races will be at the Titan Track Complex. The invite serves as a last chance for those runners who are on the bubble of qualifying to run in the post-season. 
 
Starting off the evening for the Lions in the women's 5k will be Rebecca Collins, Rosie Cruz, Avery Doan, Ashley Flores, Gaby Guerrero, Holly LaPlante, Cynthia Melendez and Marina Soares.
 
Participating in the men's 8k for LMU will be Luca Cannuscio, Weston Hart, Mike Martinez, Cooper McCarthy, Ethan Monarski, Roberto Ruelas and Jacob Villegas.
 
In addition to both Lions' teams competing at the invite, LMU will also have an alumni team entered in the meet for the third consecutive year. Alums will compete against the current squads head-to-head. This year the Lions have the largest alumni contingent ever, including the first-ever women's team.

Following this meet, the Lions will host the 2019 West Coast Conference Cross Country Championships on Friday, Nov. 1 at Woodley Lakes Golf Course in Van Nuys, Calif. The women's 6k race will begin at 10:00 a.m. followed by the men's 8k race at 11:00 a.m.
