Playing its second match of the day from the Utah State Invitational on Friday night, LMU volleyball (4-1) swept past host Utah State (1-4) by scores of 25-22, 26-24, 25-21 to move to 1-1 at the tournament.
SLATTERY LEADS THE WAY

Savannah Slattery led the attack on Friday night, delivering a match-best 18 kills on 31 swings to finish with a .387 hitting percentage … the native of Malibu, Calif. also turned in six digs and three block assists, helping LMU to nine team blocks … Slattery totaled six kills in each of the three sets on Friday … with another solid match under her belt, Slattery now has amassed 77 kills (4.05 per set) while hitting .355 this year.
