Box Score

#20 UCLA scored four times in the first inning to set the tone in a 13-1 Bruin (17-7) victory over LMU (13-15) on Tuesday night from LMU's Page Stadium.

RUNS EARLY AND OFTEN: UCLA scored four times and sent all nine players to the plate in the first inning en route to taking a 4-0 lead. The Bruins then added two in the fourth, one in the fifth, three in the sixth, two in the seventh, and one more in the eighth to win 13-1.

LMU'S OFFENSE: The Lions scored one run on four hits, as Niko Pacheco punched an RBI-single through the left side to chase home Trevin Esquerra in the second inning. While the chances for LMU were limited, even those were thwarted, as the Lions hit into a pair of double plays.
