Appeared and started in 16 games…hit .286 with 16 runs, 18 hits, four doubles, 11 RBI, three home runs, a slugging percentage of .492 and an on base percentage of .423…led team in slugging percentage, runs scored, RBI, home runs, total bases, walks and total plate appearances…had six multi-hit games and three multi-RBI contests…in the season opener on 2/14 vs. Washington went 2x2 with two runs scored, two RBI and a home run…on 2/21 at Sam Houston State went 2x5 with a game-high two doubles, two runs scored and one RBI…tied the NCAA record for at-bats with 11 at UC Davis on 2/28…posted two RBI and a home run by going 3x4 at UC Davis on 3/1…
2019 - JUNIOR
Appeared and started in 59 games...batted .322 with 40 runs, 75 hits, 20 doubles, one triple, 60 RBI and 16 home runs...led the team in batting average, slugging percentage, hits, RBI, doubles, home runs, total bases and at bats...his 16 home runs placed him second in the WCC and 40th nationally...led the team with 24 multi hit games and 19 multi RBI games...named All-WCC Second Team...named to the WCC All-Tournament Team...selected to the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division I West All-Region Second Team…went 3x3 with two doubles, one RBI and drew two walks at Oregon on 3/3...went 3x5 with three doubles and two RBI at Louisiana on 3/10...netted first multi home run game of the year at Saint Mary's on 4/20…went 6x8 with one home run, one double and four RBI in the WCC Championship Tournament 5/25 - 5/31...

Trevin Esquerra was born in San Diego, Calif... son of Linda and Robert Esquerra... mother was a cheerleader at San Diego State... father played baseball at Cerritos and United States International University... has two brothers, Brandon and Justin... Justin played baseball at San Diego Mesa and Siena College... fluent in Spanish... is ambidextrous, throwing and hitting switch... chose LMU because of the baseball program and the location, and he believes LMU has a lot to offer... a psychology major.
