SAN BRUNO, Calif. – The 2018-19 men's basketball schedule is completed following the West Coast Conference's announcement of the remaining game times and broadcasts for the season.
LMU's WCC look will include the ESPN2 or ESPNU nationally broadcasted home game against Gonzaga on Feb. 14, as well as four home and seven total games airing on Spectrum SportsNet in Los Angeles, the television home of the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lions will also be broadcasted on BYUtv for the Feb. 2 game in Provo.
The Lions have been selected as the WCC Game of the Week three times this season, Jan. 19 vs. Pepperdine, Feb. 16 vs. BYU, and Mar. 2 at San Francisco. The Game of the Week will be distributed to television partners throughout the WCC footprint – more than 16 million homes in all. Those games will also be available live to WCC fans outside of school television markets for free on TheW.tv. The remaining conference games and non-conference home games will be available to stream through the conference's digital platform, TheW.tv.
Based on television selections, all WCC game times are finalized as well. LMU will play their conference home opener on Jan. 5 for a 3 p.m. Saturday game against Portland, followed by a 7 p.m. game on Jan. 12 against Saint Mary's.
The PCH Cup on Jan. 19 will be a 1 p.m. tip from Gersten Pavilion and air on Spectrum SportsNet.
Pacific comes to town for the first conference home Thursday game of the season, a 7:30 p.m. contest on Jan. 31, with San Diego coming in a week later at 7 p.m. on Feb. 7.
LMU's big week with two home games is scheduled for Feb. 14 and 16. Gonzaga comes to The Bluff for the 8 p.m. Valentine's Day game on one of the ESPN networks and the weekend continues with BYU returning to Gersten on Saturday at 1 p.m. for the first time since last year's 76-69 LMU win.
Senior Day will wrap up the home games with a Feb. 24 matchup with Santa Clara on Spectrum SportsNet at 8 p.m.
