"Just as I told our guys, we couldn't have played any harder or had a better pushback," said Head Coach Mike Dunlap. "It is representative and indicative of the entire year."

"At no point in the game did we feel like we couldn't get the win," said Brandon Brown. "We just kept fighting, running our offense, and doing what we needed to do to get the win. Unfortunately, we did not get the win, but we played a really good game."

"They have a very great team, so we just want to come out and play hard," said Shamar Johnson. "BYU, they have a target on their back, and we were one of the teams that wanted to go at them. We know about their players, they have very good players. We just tried to go out there and compete."

"All season we've been the type of team that pretty much plays all of our players." said Brown. We like to play pressure defense and keep fresh guys coming in to tire out the opponent. I feel like that is a pressure of ours."

"We feel we have a little bit of an advantage one through eleven with our quickness," said Dunlap. "We play in space or press. In order to play that way our guys need a spell. We compare it much like to the lines in hockey. When they are tired, we have a lot of confidence in those guys seven through eleven. They have accumulated a lot of playing time to get to this moment. There were some pivotal moments where we felt the conditioning became a factor and we were able to pushback. Inside of two minutes, we got it to two on a very good pushback, We were down 13 points at one point, but our team has been good holding onto the rope and making that pushback with eleven or twelve guys."

"It has been a really good experience for me transferring here from Phoenix College," said Brown. "I just wanted to come in and help the program out, and do whatever coach asks of us to try to take this program to the next level."

"Transferring in from Pensacola State, I just wanted to change the program around," said Johnson. "I came from a very good program, that wasn't good at the beginning, but we also turned it around so I just wanted to come here and do the same thing and do whatever coach asks us to do."
