LOS ANGELES - The Loyola Marymount women's water polo team won both of their games Saturday to close out the 16th Annual LMU Invitational. The Lions (9-11) opened the day with a 11-5 win over George Washington and won their third straight game of the tournament with a 9-6 victory against Whittier.

Caitlin Schafer continued her strong play from Friday with a four-goal performance on Saturday against the Colonials. Dana Acquah-Asare added a pair of goals, while Sky Flores and Jacqueline Verdugo each recorded three saves while splitting time in net.

Hana Vilanova put together a six-goal, seven-point performance to help the Lions close out the tournament with a win over Whittier. Last year's All-GCC honorable mention and GCC All-Freshman selection from a year ago topped her previous career high with her six goals. Flores totaled nine saves to preserve the win.

Each of the six teams played four games over the two days. Complete results and box scores are listed below.
