Swimming in its second double dual in as many days, LMU swimming dropped both ends of the decisions against Grand Canyon and Seattle. The Lions fell to Grand Canyon, 147-57, for the second straight day, while Seattle U answered Friday's loss with a 114-90 victory over the Lions on Saturday from the Burns Aquatics Center.

LMU's top finish on the afternoon came in the final women's race of the day â€" the 400 freestyle relay. Alyce-Faye Eichelberger, Taylor Anderson, Anna Gasiorowski and Isabel Willis combined to post a time of 3:38.83 to capture second place.

Sophomore Lanna Kozlowski managed a pair of third-place finishes in individual events, showing well in the distance freestyle. Kozlowski first swam in the 1000 freestyle, turning in a time of 10:54.00. She returned in the 500 freestyle, posting a time of 5:17.13.

Willis, Eichelberger and Anderson also claimed top-three finishes in one of their respective races, with Willis taking the spot in the 200 freestyle (1:58.85). Eichelberger narrowly-missed a second-place finish in the 50 freestyle, stopping the clock in 24.52 to finish just behind Allison Plamondon of Seattle at 24.49. Finally, Anderson took home third place in the 200 backstroke with a mark of 2:10.82.

Seattle University and Grand Canyon also competed against one another in men's competition, with GCU posting a 130-74 victory.

LMU will stay at home this week, welcoming San Diego and UC Davis to campus for a Noon double dual meet on Sunday, October 29.
