Playing its third match in as many days, #69 LMU men's tennis (12-9, 5-4 WCC) defeated Gonzaga (5-15, 2-8 WCC), 5-0, at home on Sunday from the LMU Tennis Center to complete a 3-0 week.

The Lions cruised to victory over the Bulldogs, earning the doubles point with wins on courts one and two. Joat Farah and Errol Smith teamed to defeat Jordan Smith and Hayden Smith, 6-2, on court one, before Charles Boyce and Cristobal Rivera combined to top O'Sullivan/Moreno, 6-2, to capture the point.

Lukas Moenter made it 2-0 LMU with a 6-2, 6-1 victory over Vicente Varas on court five, while Rivera recorded a victory at #1 singles, defeating J. Smith, 6-4, 6-2, to push LMU within a point of the team win. Rivera improved to 20-12 on the year, collecting his first win at #1 singles.

Errol Smith clinched the win over Gonzaga on court two, outlasting Ruadhan O'Sullivan, 7-5, 4-6, 6-3, in a hard-fought match to post his third straight win and move to 7-2 in conference play. With the match already decided, the two teams elected to allow the court six match to play out, as Jamie Thorp defeated Ronzai Saurombe, 4-6, 6-2, 6-0, to record his third consecutive win as well. Thorp is now 3-1 in WCC play.

LMU will now prepare for next week's WCC Championship Tournament. The action begins on Wednesday, and the Lions hold the #6 seed in the tournament.
