Finishing up a weekend in Northern California, the #68 LMU men's tennis team (9-6, 2-2 WCC) won its fourth straight match, defeating Saint Mary's, 4-0, from Moraga, Calif. on Saturday afternoon.

LMU won the doubles point to start the match, with Luke Bohuslav and Lukas Moenter defeating Jacob Lagman and Alex Wagner, 7-6 (7), to clinch the point. Charles Boyce and Cristobal Rivera also managed a doubles victory, defeating Nash Vollenweider and Brian Lees, 6-3.

Moenter carried the momentum from doubles into singles play, dispatching his opponent, Vollenweider, 6-4, 6-1, on court four to capture the first singles point. Joat Farah finished up his match shortly thereafter, defeating Lagman, 6-1, 6-3, to make it 3-0 LMU.

Errol Smith finished off the sweep with a 7-5, 6-2 victory over James Markiewixz on court two. Cristobal Rivera was on his way to closing out his opponent on court one after winning the first, 7-6 (0) and leading, 4-0, in the second, but his match went unfinished.

After playing 11 of its last 12 matches away from home, including six straight, LMU will return to the LMU Tennis Center on April 4 to host UC Irvine at 1 p.m.
