The LMU men's tennis team recorded its first victory of the season on Saturday, posting a 7-0 win over Hawaii in a neutral-site match from Las Vegas, Nev.

LMU's #2 and #3 doubles teams each posted a 6-1 victory over their opponents, with Boyce/Rivera winning on court two, and Moenter/Bohuslav claiming the win on court three.

Only one singles match went three sets, with Boyce topping Felix Albert, 5-7, 6-2, 10-6 on court one.

Joat Farah did not drop a set while playing on court five, dispatching Joakim Pinola, 6-0, 6-0. Bohuslav was nearly as efficient, defeating Nikolai Storch, 6-1, 6-0 on court four. Rivera managed a 6-1, 6-1 victory over Igor Kolaric on court three, while Alex Bourgeois bested Spencer Travalino, 6-2, 6-1 on the sixth court.

Playing at number two singles, Smith easily defeated Marcel Chan, 6-1, in the first before earning the straight-set victory with a 7-5 decision in the second.

LMU will return to action tomorrow when it plays a road match at UNLV at 11 a.m.
