LOS ANGELES - LMU men's water polo senior Jon Beck was named Association of Collegiate Water Polo Coaches All-American for the 2016 season, earning honorable mention honors as announced on Sunday by the ACWPC.
The second-team All-WWPA selection was team captain for the Lions and had a break out final campaign.
Beck had his best season as a Lion. He was fourth on the team with 61 points overall and second in goals with 45. He added 16 assists with 19 steals and 13 drawn ejections.
His best game of the season was a six-point effort against Wagner on Oct. 23, scoring five goals with an assist. He scored his five goals on just six attempts. He 14 games with two or more goals and added a five-assist game against Bucknell on Oct. 22.
The Lions finished the season 14-16 overall and ranked 17th nationally.
