LOS ANGELES -- LMU men's basketball will hold a special first-look practice just for season ticket holders on Saturday, Oct. 15 at 9:30 am. Season tickets are on sale now and can be renewed online at LMULions.com/Tickets. The practice is just one of the many opportunities to get a look at the 2016-17 Lions before Tip-Off week starting on Nov. 11.

First-Look Practice - Saturday, Oct. 15 - 9:30 am
The Lions will open the doors to practice on Saturday morning for season ticket holders at 9:30 am. The practice will include live five-on-five action and will conclude with a chance to meet the players and coaching staff on the court.

Season tickets are the best way to be a part of the upcoming season, which includes and 18-game home schedule highlighted with match-ups against UConn, Gonzaga, BYU, Saint Mary's and more are season tickets. They are on sale now and fans are encourage to act fast to catch all the action for the second-largest home schedule in program history.

The LMU Ticket Office will be open on Saturday during the event or fans can renew online.

2016 #LMUMADNESS - Thursday, Oct. 20 - 8 pm
LMU's 2016 Madness, the annual student tip-off celebration to the new season will take place on Thursday, Oct. 20 at Gersten Pavilion. Doors open at 8 pm.

Don't miss the annual dunk contest along with a special three-point competition against some of the best long-range shooters in LMU history. There will be the ever-popular individual sport team dance performances in the annual dance-off, along with performances from Kuumba Beatz, IB Modern and Radix. The LMU Cheer Team will perform along with the first-ever performance from the brand new LMU Athletics Dance Team, Lions Pride. Oh, there will be giveaways, including a free trip to Las Vegas for the 2017 WCC Basketball Championships... and so much more!

2016 LMU COACHES CLINIC - Saturday, Oct. 29 - 9 am
LMU Men's Basketball Coach Mike Dunlap and the Lions' basketball program will host the 2016 Lions' Basketball Coaches Clinic on Saturday, October 29, 2016 at 9 am. The clinic will be held on the campus of Loyola Marymount University at the Burns Recreation Center. The clinic is free and open to any and all coaches, at all levels of basketball.

The Lions will be in the middle preparing for the 2016-17 season, and attendees will have the opportunity to watch a full LMU practice. Following the practice, there will be a chalk talk with the coaching staff. Parking on campus is free on Saturday's and participants can park in Lot A on the LMU campus. COMMUNITY #LIONSTRONG TICKET PACKAGE
This season will feature non-conference match-ups with UConn on Nov. 17, Boise State on Dec. 5, and the annual LMU Holiday Classic against Morgan State on Dec. 26. The West Coast Conference portion of the schedule will start on the final weekend of the calendar year with Saint Mary's (Dec. 29) and BYU (Dec. 31). The annual Family Weekend slate of games features Gonzaga on Feb. 9, followed by the Family Weekend Game on Feb. 11 against Portland. Wells Fargo PCH Cup rival Pepperdine comes to Gersten Pavilion on Feb. 18 for the 2017 LMU Homecoming and will also be the 2017 LMU Athletics' Hall of Fame Game. The season closes with the 2017 Senior Day and Recent Alum Night on Feb. 23.

Season tickets in the lower level reserved section of Gersten Pavilion are just $250. That's over 50 percent off the regular single game ticket price. The price includes choice seating for all games in 2016-17, and is the best option for the top platinum-level games against UConn and Gonzaga, and the premium level games against Saint Mary's, Pepperdine and BYU.

Upper level (200 level) season tickets for Southern California residents are just $120 ($80 for children 12 and under/seniors over 55), that is a 75 percent savings off individual game tickets. That's the 17 regular games and the free Holiday Classic game for just $7 per game. Community members must have a promotional code for this pricing. Look for the code in the mail or call the ticket office at (310) 338-LION (5466).

aculty, staff and students get entrance into all LMU home games for free with a valid LMU One Card, which grants general admission access to the student section in the 300 lower level. For faculty and staff wishing for 100 level reserved season tickets, they are just $150. That's a 72 percent savings off individual game tickets in the lower level, and 40 percent of regular season ticket price for the same section.

Recent alums of LMU (classes 2007 through 2016) can also get lower level reserved season tickets for just $150.

Individual game tickets will go on sale based on demand and sales from season tickets and packages. If tickets are available, they will go sale no later than 48 hours prior to tip-off. Look for special single game ticket specials throughout the season, including Military/Veterans Appreciation on Nov. 11, LMU Alumni Family Day on Dec. 17, Family Weekend Game on Feb. 11, Homecoming/Hall of Fame Game special on Feb. 18 and the Recent Alum/Senior Day special on Feb. 23.
