Oct. 10, 2016 2016 PCSC Pentathlon Results 
Senior Hannah Calton combined to post a time of 6:19.57 over five events on Saturday afternoon from the PCSC Pentathlon in La Mirada, Calif., claiming second overall in her events. Freshman Alyce-Faye Eichelberger also finished in the top-three over her five events, totaling a time of 2:56.76.
Calton competed in the 100 fly (58.26), 100 backstroke (1:01.42), 100 breaststroke (1:12.51), 100 freestyle (55.50) and 200 individual medley (2:11.88) as part of the distance IM pentathlon. The native of Granite Bay, Calif. earned first place in the 100 fly and 200 IM, and took second in the 100 back. Freshman Lanna Kozlowski also placed in the top-10 in that pentathlon, claiming eighth overall in 6:34.35.
Swimming in the sprint IM pentathlon, Eichelberger competed in the 50 butterfly (28.07), 50 backstroke (27.91), 50 breaststroke (33.13), 100 IM (1:02.18) and 50 freestyle (25.47). The native of London, England earned a first-place finish in the 50 back. Lia Porcelli Jorgensen also competed in the sprint IM pentathlon, placing sixth with a combined time of 3:01.38.
LMU's best finish in the freestyle pentathlon went to Keara Reilly, who took 10th overall with a combined time of 9:03.98.
The Lions will return to action on October 14 when they begin the two-day Malibu Invitational. LMU's first home meet of the year will be October 21 when it hosts UC Davis at 2 p.m.
