Lake Natoma Schedule of Events

The LMU rowing program will head to the Lake Natoma Invitational this weekend, competing against some of the top teams in the nation on the course they will row in the WCC Championship.

The nine-team regatta will feature a powerhouse lineup that includes four nationally ranked teams, not to mention three of the top six programs in the nation. Among those schools coming to the Sac State Aquatic Center will be second-ranked Brown, No. 3 Cal, No. 6 Stanford and No. 16 Notre Dame. Gonzaga and San Diego are both receiving votes in the poll, while Sacramento State, Rhode Island and Loyola Marymount round out the field. Sac State and Cal are sharing hosting duties.

Saturday's racing features a morning (8 a.m. until 9:40 a.m.) and afternoon (3:30 p.m.-5:30 p.m.) session. Sunday's schedule will last from 8:00-9:50 a.m. Live results of racing will be available by following @NatomaInvite on twitter.

The Lions will field a boat in the Varsity 4 (8:20 a.m.), 2 Varsity 8 (8:50 a.m.) and Varsity 8 (9:20 a.m.) on Saturday morning against Stanford and San Diego. LMU will then return to action later Saturday afternoon, competing against Cal and Gonzaga in the Varsity 4 (3:50 p.m.), 2 Varsity 8 (4:20 p.m.) and Varsity 8 (4:50 p.m.).

Sunday's events will feature races against Rhode Island and Sacramento State. The Varsity 4s will once again begin competition at 8:20 a.m., followed by the 2 Varsity 8 at 8:50 a.m. and the Varsity 8 at 9:20 a.m.
