Both the LMU men's and women's rowing teams will be in competition this Saturday as the women look to defend the Berg Cup and the men travel to Santa Barbara, Calif. to compete against UC Santa Barbara and USC.
The LMU women's rowing program won its third consecutive Berg Cup last year, sweeping the four races at the 2014 Berg Cup hosted by Orange Coast College in Newport Beach, Calif.
Most recently, the Lions dropped races to a tough UCLA team last weekend in Marina del Rey, Calif. On the men's side, LMU entered only one boat at the Parker Cup last Saturday, with the Lions finishing fifth in the third Varsity 8 with a time of 7:24.
