Oct. 26, 2015 Junior Hannah Calton was named Pacific Collegiate Swim Conference Athlete of the Week this week following LMU's busy weekend that featured a pair of double-dual meets against Seattle University and Grand Canyon.
Calton highlighted LMU's performance in Saturday's double-dual, winning the 200 butterfly with a time of 2:07.14. LMU won the 400 relay on Friday to close the first of the consecutive meets with Calton as one of the four members on the relay posting a time of 3:33.84. In addition to the first-place finish in the 200 butterfly and the 400 relay, Calton claimed a third-place finish in the 200 freestyle (1:56.94), a second-place finish in the 100 butterfly (57.49), and a fourth-place finish in the 200 IM (2:12.50).
The Lions will return to the water on October 31, traveling to UC Davis for a meet at 1 pm.
The Pacific Collegiate Swim and Dive Conference (PCSC) includes institutions from the National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) and the National Collegiate Athletic Association (NCAA). All 3 divisions -Division I, II and III of the NCAA are represented.
