LIONS LAST LINE
It was a tale of two very different halves Wednesday at Northern Arizona as the Lions carried a 34-32 lead into the break, but would be outscored 50-30 in the second half for an 82-64 setback in Flagstaff. Cold shooting plagued the Lions in the second half, as they finished the frame with just nine field goals. The Lumberjacks, meanwhile, got hot in the second half, hitting 19-for-33. Sophie Taylor (15 points, 13 rebounds) and Taylor Anderson (14 points, seven rebounds) were a bright spot for LMU.

ABOUT THE SEATTLE UNIVERSITY REDHAWKS (1-5)
Seattle fell to 1-5 on the season with a 102-69 loss to Washington on Thursday - the Redhawks' fourth straight setback. The lone win thus far for Seattle was a 54-47 final over Portland State on Nov. 16. Wilma Afungo leads the Redhawks with 14.0 ppg and 6.8 rpg while Taelor Ross averages 13.3 ppg and 6.2 rpg. As a team, Seattle shoots 36 percent from the field, 26 percent from three and 64 percent from the free-throw line to average 61.5 ppg. Their opponents, meanwhile, are shooting 45 percent from the field and 32 percent from three for 75.8 ppg.

WHEN LAST WE MET
In just the third all-time match-up between the two squads, LMU dropped last year's meeting with Seattle, 72-70 on Dec. 19, 2013 in Gersten Pavilion. The game featured a combined 48 turnovers and it was turnovers late in the game that cost LMU. Hazel Ramirez led the Lions with 15 points while Olivia Lucero had a career-high 11 points on 4-of-6 shooting, including a perfect 3-for-3 from three. LMU leads the all-time series 2-1, having won the first two meetings, 74-68 in 2009 and 61-52 in 2010.

INSIDE THE LIONS
• LMU won its own Thanksgiving Classic for the sixth time in its 17-year history. This marked the first Classic title for LMU since 2008. The Lions also won in 2001, 2002, 2003 and 2007. • Leslie Lopez-Wood joins the likes of Adrienne Slaughter (2001), Kate Murray (2002), Amanda DeCloud (2007) and Renahy Young (2008) as LMU's Thanksgiving Classic MVPs. • LMU's come-from-behind win over Bowling Green (Nov. 29) was the first time the Lions had trailed at halftime and won since a 76-74 overtime victory over Saint Mary's on Feb. 13, 2014 - a stretch of 11 games. The Lions trailed at halftime 17 times in 2013-14, winning just one of those contests (SMC). • Leslie Lopez-Wood is averaging 2.7 3s per game through six games this season (16 total). The sophomore set the LMU single-season record for threes last year, finishing her rookie campaign with 70 (an average of 2.3 per game). She now has 86 in one-plus seasons and is just 13 threes shy of entering the LMU career top-10 list. • Deanna Johnson went 0-for-8 at NAU (Dec. 3), going scoreless for the first time since Nov. 20, 2013 versus Montana - a streak of 27 games. The junior guard finished without a point for just the third time in her 63 career LMU games.
