LOS ANGELES -- LMU men's basketball will finally return home from a six-game, month-long road trip just in time for the holidays. And this holiday season, LMU basketball has plenty to offer families looking for something fun to do. From the LMU Holiday Classic offering free admission, to a $1 ticket promotion during the conference opening weekend, LMU hoops is the place to be this holiday.
Highlighting the fun this holiday season is the 3rd Annual LMU Holiday Classic featuring LMU men's basketball taking on La Sierra on Saturday, Dec. 21 at 6 pm. The annual game features free admission and $1 hotdogs thanks to Sodexo. Special family in game promotions and top NCAA basketball will provide fun for the entire family.
That following weekend is the start of play within the West Coast Conference and men's basketball welcomes BYU and San Diego at Gersten Pavilion. The opening series is a special Catholic Youth Organization (CYO) athletic team promotion, offering two free tickets to any family affiliated with CYO. Additional tickets are also just $5. The promotion is good for both the Lions' opener on Saturday, Dec. 28 against BYU at 1 pm, and for the following game against San Diego on Monday, Dec. 30 at 7 pm. A special promotional code has been sent to CYO members and they can enter it HERE to get special tickets.
Local community members living in a zip code neighboring LMU also can get tickets for just $5 for the first two conference games. Community members can click here and then enter promo code WCCOPENER to get the special $5 tickets.
For the game against the Toreros on Dec. 30, the game is Military Appreciation Night and those affiliated with the U.S. Military and all veterans can receive tickets for just $1. Contact the LMU Ticket Office at (310) 258-2680 to get special promotional code to get those one dollar tickets.
Starting the action this holiday season was LMU women's basketball as they continued their three-game home stand on Saturday, Dec. 14 when they host UNLV. The game is a special Girl Scouts Day at the Game with special promotions through the game for all girl scouts in attendance. Their home stand will come to a close on Wednesday, Dec. 19 when they host Seattle at 7 pm.
