LOS ANGELES - The 2012 LMU women's rowing regular season comes to a close Saturday, April 21 when the Lions host Santa Clara in a head-to-head meet at Ballona Creek in Marina del Rey. The meet marks the final home event of the season for LMU and is the team's final tuneup before championship season begins April 28-29 with the Western Intercollegiate Rowing Association Championships, followed by the West Coast Conference Championship on May 12.

On Saturday, racing begins at 9:15 am with the junior varsity eight. The varsity eight race is scheduled for 9:30 am and racing will conclude at 9:45 am with the varsity four.

The Lions have five seniors who will be competing on their home course for the final time - Shannon Craig, Chris Erhart, Kat Regan, Alex Silva and Sydney Sutton-Liswith.
