LOS ANGELES, Calif. - LMU swimming will travel to Fresno, Calif. to take part in the PCSC Relays and PCSC Pentathlon this weekend in its first competitive events of the season. Friday's action starts at 1:30 p.m. before Saturday begins at 10 a.m.
LMU last hit the water on September 25, splitting into two sets of current Lion swimmers to square-off against a group of alumnae for the annual Alumnae Meet. At last year's PCSC Pentathlon, the LMU swim team finished second only to Cal Baptist with 496 points. Tammy Choy, Rachel Dekar and Carolyn Pasque all earned first-place finishes to guide the Lions to the strong showing. The Lions return 21 swimmers from last year, while also adding five new athletes to the mix.
After this weekend's competition, LMU will return to the water on October 21 at the Malibu Invitational hosted by Pepperdine.
