Results 
The LMU swimming team dropped a dual meet to the University of Hawai'i, 150-110, on Friday at the Duke Kahanamoku Aquatics Complex. Hawai'i, which hails from the Western Athletic Conference, won nine events on the day.
LMU managed to post a number of competitive swims on Friday, including winning four total races. Senior Anne Scott won both the 50 and 100 freestyle, while freshman Camille Hopp won the 100 breaststroke. LMU also finished the meet strong, as the Lions won the 200 freestyle relay.
Hopp won the 100 breaststroke with a season-best time of 1:06.05. Senior Trinity O'Neill swam a great race in the 200 butterfly, just getting out touched with Alyssa Manlow from Hawaii touching at 2:08.46 to O'Neill's 2:08.49. LMU also took 4th and 5th in the race, with Christina Cannata turning in a season-best time of 2:14.92 for fifth place.
Demonstrating strength in the 50 freestyle, LMU swept the event. Scott took first place in 24.11, while Isabella Zhang (24.69) and Carolyn Pasque (24.71) finished second and third, in that order. Scott won her second race after turning in a very fast 52.01 in the 100 freestyle, followed by two Hawaii swimmers. LMU picked up fourth and fifth places in that event, as Pasque and Alicia Witter finished in 53.98 and 54.21, respectively.
O'Neill had another close race in the 200 individual medley, picking up second place with a 2:11.31. Kia Dobie also claimed fourth place for the Lions. Pasque, Zhang, Witter and Scott joined forces in the final event of the day, winning the 200 freestyle relay in a close race with Hawai'i, 1:37.15 to 1:37.34.

The Lions return to action on January 23 when they host San Diego and Fresno State in Burns Aquatics Center at 10 a.m.
