LOS ANGELES, Calif. -- The sixth-ranked LMU men's water polo team, playing their second straight top-four team in three days, fell to No. 1 USC, 11-4, at McDonald's Swim Stadium on the USC campus Saturday afternoon.
The Lions trailed 7-2 at the break and could get no closer as they fall to 13-6 on the season. Andrew Aki led the Lions with two goals. Max Schlegel and Tibor Forai each added a score for LMU.
LMU will return to conference play next Saturday, Oct. 31 when they take on rival UC San Diego for the fourth time on the season. The game is set for 12 noon at the Burns Recreation and Aquatics Center.
