Los Angeles, CA - The Loyola Marymount University men's tennis team defeated the Gonzaga Bulldogs 7-0 in Portland on Saturday, before traveling to Eugene, OR, where they fell to the Ducks, 6-1. The Lions top-seeded doubles team improved to No. 37 in the nation, dispite not playing over the weekend due to illness.

Anthony Evrard was the only Lion to win all of his matches over the weekend, giving up only one set on the trip to Oregon's No. 3 player. Evrard was the only Lion to take a win away from the Ducks on Sunday. Michael Cameron picked up his first win as a Lion with his straight-set victory at the No. 6 spot over Gonzaga.

The Lions will host Portland State on Friday before hitting the road to Arizona over the weekend.
