At UC Irvine... was a 2005 Big West Scholar-Athlete and hit .352 in Big West play for the Anteaters... among the team leaders with a .417 on-base percentage and a .556 slugging percentage in conference action...
2004... started 31 games and hit .288... tallied 32 hits, seven doubles, and four home runs... ranked fourth on the team with 31 RBI and had multiple-RBI in 10 games... sat out second half of the season due to injury...

Erik Avery Johnson was born August 16, 1983 in Lakewood, CO... son of Jayne and Walt Johnson... has one sister, Haley... competed in the 1996 Little League World Series... earned his undergraduate degree in political science at UCI and is now working toward a masters degree in education.
