Kristen Castellanos begins her first year on the LMU coaching staff in 2018, serving as a graduate assistant after finishing her playing career in 2017.

Castellanos played in every match of her collegiate career (123) for the Lions, ranking tied for first in the category. She also finished her Lion career ranked second all-time in digs with 1,571 while appearing in an LMU-best 455 sets, missing just one over the course of her career. Over her storied career, Castellanos served up 84 aces (.18 per set) and averaged 3.45 digs per set.

Castellanos earned her degree in psychology from LMU in 2018.
