Lucy Windes enters her fourth season with the Lions as the all-time leading scorer in LMU women?s water polo history...her scoring ability is a key to the Lions? success this season...can shoot from anywhere...one of the best offensive players in the country...has grown into a program leader.
At LMU-2001-Junior
Earned USWPA second-team All-American honors...voted WWPA conference player of the year...NCAA Championship All-Tournament team selection...played in each of the Lions? 30 games...the team?s leading scorer with 62 goals on 140 attempts...assisted with 11 more goals...collected 29 steals, tied for third highest.
2000-Sophomore
Second on team with 54 goals in 26 games...suffered an early-season injury...57 steals ranked her second best among all Lions...collected 23 assists...scored five goals in a game three times..
1999-Freshman
Led the Lions in goals (70) and shot attempts (190)...tied for a team-high 39 assists...finished second on the team with 97 steals.
High School
A 1998 graduate of Beaverton High School...lettered four years in water polo and three years in swimming...earned all-city, all-state, and all-conference honors in water polo each year...served as team captain for swimming and water polo in her final campaign.
