Briefly
Kylie Beren begins her fourth season as a Lion...2003 NSCAA Scholar-Athlete
Third-Team All-West Region...adds valuable experience...coaches look for her to
provide leadership in the defense this year...a regional team ODP
player...will see playing time in the center of the defense...is strong in the
air and has a knack for winning headers...a great striker of the ball.
At LMU-2003
Played in 18 games and was a starter in 15 games...lone
goal of the year came against Cal State Northridge (Aug.
29)...collected assists against Oregon (Sept. 26) and Santa Clara (Oct.
17)...finished the year with a total of three shot attempts, two of
which were on goal.
2002
Started in all 20 games...took 12 shots, six of which were shots on goal...posted a goal against Loyola-Maryland and the game-winner against Vanderbilt.
2001
Was an All-WCC honorable mention selection...made 15 appearances and 12 starts...tallied a total of six shots, two of which were on goal...shots on goal came against Pacific (Sep. 2) and Pepperdine (Nov. 4).
High School
Beren is a 2001 graduate of California High School in San Ramon, CA...a four-time varsity letterwinner in soccer...earned All-North-Coast Section league honors...was captain of her senior squad...prep coach was Lee Munson.

Kylie Elizabeth Beren was born on Sept. 1, 1983 in Walnut Creek, CA...the daughter of Robert Jr. and Patricia Beren...she has two brothers, Matt and Jeff...in her free time Kylie enjoys biking, snowboarding, dancing and fishing...a business major.
