Alli Lipsher

Alli Lipsher

Alli Lipsher has been hired as an assistant coach under Chris Chamides, the program announced today. Following her Division I soccer career at Duke University, Lipsher has grown within the coaching ranks at both the professional and collegiate levels.

“We are excited to welcome Alli to The Bluff,” said Head Coach Chamides. “Her highly successful profile in both the college game and the professional ranks will bring a unique blend of experiences to our program. Our student athletes will benefit from her attention to detail and her passion to both develop student-athletes and compete.”

Most recently with the Kansas City Current, Lipsher brings experience in daily training, game preparation, and match analysis for the team’s goalkeepers. Additionally, Lipsher’s experience includes video analysis, coordinating set pieces, and talent identification.

Prior to her role with NWSL Club, Lipsher oversaw the goalkeeping program at the University of Minnesota, while simultaneously working with Minneapolis City SC and Fusion Soccer Club, as the Director of Goalkeeping for all three teams.

A former professional soccer player herself, Lipsher played both internationally and in the United States with the Boston Breakers, Atlanta Beat, and WNY Flash of the WPS, and in Australia’s W-League for both Newcastle Jets and Sydney FC.

Lipsher followed her playing career with collegiate coaching roles at Trinity College, East Carolina University, University of Arizona, and Tufts University.

“Meet Alli once and you will know why she has been selected for our staff,” added Chamides.
“She is a bright coach and an even better person. We are fortunate to collaborate with her.”

In addition to her coaching license from US Soccer, Lipsher holds her BA in History from Duke University and a MA in public policy from Trinity University.
