Martin Pazanin joined the LMU women’s basketball coaching staff in the summer of 2021, and will serve as Head Coach Aarika Hughes’ first Director of Basketball Operations. Pazanin’s first season with the Lions will be the 2021-22 campaign.
Pazanin arrives to The Bluff following a season as the Video Coordinator with the women’s basketball team at the University of Washington from 2020-21. Prior to working with the Huskies, Pazanin held a Video Internship at UCLA with the Bruins women’s team for the 2019-20 season.
On the coaching side of the ball, Pazanin worked as an Assistant Coach at Culver-Stockton College on the men’s side, as well as serving as Head Coach over seven years at several high schools in Illinois including Quincy High School, Mundelein High School, Illinois Valley Central High School, and Champaign Central High School. In addition to high school coaching, Pazanin coached AAU/travel ball for Illinois Pizazz and Heart of Illinois.
Pazanin earned a Bachelor of Science Degree in Special Education from Bradley University, and taught Special Education courses while coaching his high school programs.
