Chris Elliott begins his ninth season as an Assistant Coach on the LMU women's basketball staff in 2020-21. In 2018-19, Elliott helped lead the Lions to their first post season appearance in 14 years, as the team was selected to play in the first round of the WNIT.

Elliott has coached alongside his wife, head coach Charity Elliott, for nearly their entire careers, most recently at UC San Diego. He joined her Triton staff in 2009 after spending two years with Synergy Sports Technologies - a company that provides game video editing and analysis for the NBA, the NBA Developmental League, NCAA Division I games and several major European leagues.

At UCSD Elliott helped guide the Tritons to an overall record of 25-5 and a second straight California Collegiate Athletic Association regular season title in his first season in La Jolla in 2009-10 and helped the Tritons to another 20-win campaign after the team went 20-11 in 2010-11. In 2011-12, UCSD went 30-3, including going unbeaten in their first 26 games while also spending seven weeks ranked #1 in NCAA Division II, the first No. 1 ranking in school history. He was on Charity’s staff at Portland State from 2004-2007, helping rebuild the Viking's program and leading the team to consecutive Big Sky Tournament appearances.

Prior to his stint at Portland State, Elliott spent the 2003-04 season as the strength and conditioning coach for the women's basketball program at Arkansas. He also served as an assistant alongside Charity Elliott at Cal Baptist from 2001-03. Elliott earned a Bachelor of Science from SouthwestÂ
