Cesar made an immediate impact in his freshman season at LMU, competing in both singles and doubles across a challenging WCC schedule. 

Singles Highlights 

• Defeated Lucas Suarez (UC Riverside) 6-2, 6-0 

• Defeated Matias Rojas (New Mexico State) 6-4, 6-0 

• Defeated Matteo Lugari (Grand Canyon) 6-1, 6-4 

• Defeated Krish Gupta (Yale) 6-3, 6-2 

• Won a three-set match against Ran Amar (Pacific #68) 1-6, 6-2, 6-3 

HIGH SCHOOL (The Oaks Private School – San Salvador, El Salvador) 

2024 (Senior Year) 
Cesar concluded a standout junior tennis career ranked #1 in U18 El Salvador … competed on the El Salvador Davis Cup team as the nation’s #2 player, winning doubles matches alongside Marcelo Arévalo (#1 ATP doubles player) … ranked among the Top 80 players on the ITF Junior Circuit … named Best Junior Athlete of the Year in El Salvador (2023, 2024). 

Additional Highlights 

• Winner of JB100 Central American Championship (2023) … five years competing in ITF Junior Circuit tournaments … consistently represented El Salvador internationally.
