Briefly
Danny Williams enters his fourth season at LMU, third athletically after redshirting the 2002 season...an excellent man marker that heads the ball well...will play as a marking back or left back...a natural left-footer...gives the Lions tremendous size at the defender position...extremely dangerous offensively on set plays.
At LMU - 2003
Played and started in all 20 games...tallied four goals on the year, second among Lions...also collected assists against Creighton (Sept. 7) and Santa Clara (Nov. 15)...was LMU[apos]s fourth highest point scorer with 10...registered a total of 17 shot attempts.

Williams is a 2001 graduate of Peninsula High School in Palos Verdes, CA...a four-year letterwinner in soccer...captained his senior squad...played fullback and halfback...was a three-time All-Bay League selection...named Division I third-team All-CIF as a senior...also a member of the Daily Breeze all-area team that year...garnered team[apos]s most improved award (`97-98), offensive MVP (`99-00) and defensive MVP (`00-01)...prep coach was Andrew Martz.

Daniel Patrick O[apos]Brien Williams, 'Danny', was born on Dec. 7, 1982 in Torrance, CA...the son of Daniel and Marie Williams...father Daniel played football at LMU...has two sisters, Michelle and Colleen...names playing in the CIF playoffs as his most memorable high school moment...family owns the Riviera Mexican Grill restaurant...a Business major with plans on becoming a lawyer.
