Jacob Cini

Cini came to the Lions coaching staff in 2019 after finishing a career that saw him play collegiately at Creighton and Cal State Fullerton. While a member of the Titans soccer team in 2018 he appeared in four games, starting in two of them. During his junior year in 2017 he played in three games for the Titans while starting one of them against the University of Portland. In his first year with the Titans, Cini appeared in four games while starting in two of them against UTRGV and San Francisco.

Prior to Cal State Fullerton, he attended Creighton University for two years (2014-15) and played outside back and outside midfielder under coach Elmar Bolowich before coming to Cal State Fullerton.

 
In High School he went to Bexley High School in Bexley, Ohio, where he played forward on the varsity level for three season under coach Greg Kullman. In each of his three seasons on varsity, he was the leading scorer and offensive MVP for the Lions.

Cini has played for three club teams Columbus Crew Academy (2011-2013), FSV Erlangen-Bruck (2013-14) and Toronto FC Academy (2014-16) and was positioned at outside back under coach Nick Theslof.Â
