Loyola Marymount University Athletics

Joey Greer joined the LMU Basketball ahead of the 2026-27 season. Prior to becoming a Lion, Greer graduated from Arizona State in the Spring of 2026 with his degree in finance. As a freshman, Greer played on the Brandeis University men's basketball team.

Greer comes from a basketball family, with his father, Larry Greer, working as an advanced scout and assistant coach for the 2026 NBA Champion New York Knicks.

Greer was born in in Dayton, Ohio and went to high school in Scottsdale, Arizona at Chaparral. Greer has two older sisters, Ashley and Darcy.
