Biggest athletic thrill or accomplishment
Hitting game-winner against Saint Mary’s

What athlete you admire most and why
Serena Williams because she is an absolute trailblazer not only in her sport but just as
a woman, a black woman at that, and as a female athlete. She shows girls, especially black girls, that it’s okay to be loud, scream and yell, and be competitive and confident in
yourself. She never dims her light or personality even if others think she doesn’t
fit in or she’s too loud especially in a game like tennis. I was inspired by her as a young
girl, and I hope it shows on the court. Also, a shoutout to Cheryl Miller.

Best thing about LMU and Los Angeles
The best thing about LMU is the diversity and the care. People here really care about your life off the court. The best thing about LA besides the beach, which I love, is the amount of culture here is so fun and cool to experience, and it’s not quite like anywhere I’ve ever
been before.

Favorite Food
The steak I make

Favorite TV SHOW
Insecure

Ratatouille

Three People in history to go to dinner with?

What would you be doing if you didn't play basketball?
I don’t even know. I’d probably be in some state school in Missouri.

The reason why you wear your basketball number
I changed to 7 because the rules changed, so I thought it was cool, plus, 7 is my favorite
number because I was born on the 7th. Also, 3+4 (34, my old number) equals 7, and you
know it’s supposed to be like a new elevated version of myself

Advice to Youngsters
Enjoy the time, it goes by so fast which is so cliche. But try to appreciate everything,
the good, the bad, and everything in between because you learn and grow from
everything. The worst moments my freshman year, today I would never change because
it made me a better person. Also, learn from others mistakes. It will save you time.

One word to describe yourself
Passionate

Who inspires you to be better?
Honestly just the world. If we all have to be here, why not make it the best and be the best I can be, even if it’s in a small way?

A song that always puts you in a good mood
Sweet Life by Frank Ocean
