Appeared and started in 16 games…hit .136 with three runs, eight hits, six RBI, two doubles and one home run…had one multi-hit and multi-RBI game on the year…went 1x3 with one run scored, two RBI and a home run vs. Washington on 2/16…went 1x3 with a double vs. UC Riverside on 3/3…

2019 - FRESHMAN 
Participated in 17 games, making six starts…had four hits, one run, one double, one RBI in 27 AB and an average of .148…went 2x4 with a double and single for first multi-hit game on 5/14 vs. USC…notched first career hit at Louisiana on 3/10…made collegiate debut in a start at UC Riverside on 2/20…

A 2018 graduate of Desert Christian High School in Lancaster, Calif…completed high school with a 4.0 GPA…prepped under Wes Shryock and Jordon Corlew…a four-year varsity letter winner…named All-Desert Mountain League First Team during his sophomore, junior and senior campaigns…named Desert Mountain League Most Valuable Player as a senior…named a preseason All-American in 2018...

Matthew Christian Piotrowski…a Health and Human Sciences major…son of Suzanne and Joseph Piotrowski…has one brother, Joseph…volunteers at his church homeless community outreach program…chose LMU for its academic excellence in Health and Human Sciences as well as the opportunity to play Division I baseball.
