Enters his second season at LMU as a senior after transferring from Long Beach Junior College...developed and played solid defensively in starting 56 games last season at shortstop...has tremendous knowledge of the game...a hard worker and has a solid defensive sense...outstanding hands and arm strength defensively...will continue to work on strength offensively...will be competeing at shortstop.

Started at shortstop in all three games of the Regional...picked up two hits in nine at-bats...recorded an RBI in a 2-for-3 performance in the 13-5 loss to USC.

Started 47 of the Lions 51 games at short stop in his first season at LMU...finished with a .239 batting average and has anchored the middle of the infield at short stop with 128 assists, tops on the team...scored 22 runs batting in the ninth spot in all of his 47 starts...also pinched hit in two games...mastered the sacrifice bunt, totaling 10 on the season, tied for tops in the West Coast Conference...added two sac flies...hitting in the nine spot against San Francisco on March 12, had four RBI on a 2-for-3 performance in the 13-10 win...against cross town rival UCLA, had his only home run of the season and finished with three RBI on a 2-for-5 performance...
