All-CCAA Second Team ... made college debut in opener vs. The Master's (2/6), earning the hold in relief with three no-hit frames beginning with a perfect sixth and allowing just two walks and a hit-by-pitch while striking out a pair ... drew first college start vs. UT-Permian Basin (2/11)...combined with fellow true freshman Preston Mott on UCSD's lone shutout of 2016, 3-0 vs. No. 24 Cal Poly Pomona (3/20), facing one more than the minimum over the last three no-hit frames (2 BB) to earn third and final save...season bests of 6.0 innings pitched and six strikeouts in 10-2 win in doubleheader nightcap vs. Stanislaus State (4/2), allowing no runs on two singles and a walk...
