2012... made just five appearances, including one start, but pitched to a 1-0 record and a 2.08 ERA over the limited work... combined on a shutout of UC Riverside on May 22, collecting three strikeouts over 2.2 innings en route to earning the victory... logged 8.2 innings total, striking out eight and holding opponents to a .111 batting average against... did not allow a run over 4.2 innings of work in WCC play... also struck out four WCC hitters... right-handed hitters were just 1-for-18 against the lefty... first career appearance came on March 20 vs. Cal State Northridge... tossed 1.1 scoreless innings at San Diego State in his second career appearance... first career start came at Santa Clara on May 27 - the final game of the season...

Justin Philip Grijalva was born October 8, 1991 in West Covina, Calif... son of Diana and Dan Grijalva... father was a 1984 All-American in baseball at Chapman College... has one brother, Jacob, and a sister, Juliana... chose LMU because graduating from such a prestigious University such as LMU would be an honor, and playing Division I baseball has always been a dream... a communication major.
