AT LMU
2015... saw time in 23 games, including making eight starts in his first year with LMU... batted .276 with three runs scored, a double and seven RBI... also drew four walks and three hit-by-pitches to the tune of a .405 on-base percentage... played in 11 WCC contests, scoring twice while posting a double and five RBI... batted .316 with runners on base, including .357 with runners in scoring position... was 4-for-11 (.364) when hitting with two out... amassed three two-out RBI... first career hit came in first at bat, a pinch-hit single against San Jose State on 2/13... had a clutch pinch-hit RBI-single in LMU's three-run seventh inning that led to victory over Saint Joseph's on 2/21 in game one of a doubleheader... 2-for-4 with three RBI and a double against Santa Clara on 3/14... 2-for-3 with a run scored and a walk on 3/17 vs. San Diego State... stole his first base on 4/4 at Saint Mary's...
AT LA PIERCE COLLEGE
2014... second team All-Western State North selection... hit .285 with seven doubles, two triples, two homers and 27 RBI in his sophomore year...

A 2012 graduate of Newbury Park High School in Newbury Park, Calif... four year varsity letter winner playing for Matt Goldfield... served as team captain in his final campaign... earned All-Marmonte League honors following his junior season... batted .419 with six home runs and led the Southern Section in slugging percentage... led the conference in hit-by-pitches as a junior and senior... helped his team to the CIF SS Division I Championship in 2012... named team MVP in 2011... also competed in water polo in high school...

Joseph Roland Christian was born January 16, 1994 in Newbury Park, Calif... son of Cathy and Bill Christian... an Eagle Scout... built houses in Mexico while on a mission trip with his church... chose to come to LMU because he visited and loved the campus, the business school is very good, and he liked the coaching philosophy... a finance major.
