At LMU... 2008... made a career and team-high 24 appearances, starting two games... contributed 49.2 innings while posting a team-best 4.53 ERA... finished the season with a 1-1 record and 36 strikeouts... earned his first collegiate victory after pitching a career-high 6.0 innings and posting a career-best six strikeouts on April 8 versus Long Beach State... pitched 5.1 scoreless innings of relief against San Diego on April 26... 2007... made six appearances for the Lions... pitched 1.0 scoreless inning in a 10-6 loss to San Diego State on February 13... pitched 1.0 scoreless inning in a 6-5 win over San Jose State on March 24... 2006... made five appearances on the mound, but did not factor into any decisions... tallied two strikeouts in his four innings of work... also had four at-bats...

High School... A 2005 graduate of Palm Desert High School in Palm Desert, Calif... was a two-time All-Desert Valley League selection and a First-Team Puma All-American... led his team with a .432 average, 95 at bats, and 41 hits... tallied a team-high 69 strikeouts in 70.2 innings pitched... finished his senior season with an 8-3 record and a 1.98 ERA... prep coach was Darol Salazar... also recruited by Stanford, Cal, USC, and UC Riverside...

Personal... Ernie Gunn Cho was born October 23, 1987 in Los Angeles, Calif... now calls Hacienda Heights, Calif. home... son of Insook and Seong Cho... has one sister, Priscilla... a business major.
