Transfer pitcher/first baseman joining the Lions for the 2026 season.

2022–24 SEASONS (SANTA ROSA JUNIOR COLLEGE)
Played two seasons in the CCCAA Big 8 Conference, primarily as a pitcher. Competed at a high level and contributed as a versatile two-way player.

HIGH SCHOOL
Four-year baseball athlete at Waiakea High School and Hilo High School in Hawaii under head coach Baba Landcaster. Earned varsity letters as a sophomore, junior, and senior. Named Second Team Pitcher HHSAA, All-State Honorable Mention, and State Tournament Honorable Mention in 2022. Played both pitcher and first base positions.

PERSONAL
Born in Torrance, California, and grew up in Hilo, Hawaii. Son of Irene and Caleb Yamanaka. Has two brothers, Micah and Lucas; Lucas plays baseball at Pacific University. Intends to pursue a degree in Urban Studies.

WHY LMU?
Chose LMU to continue his academic and athletic career at a Division I program in a dynamic environment while contributing to the Lions baseball team.
