A member of the pitching staff for the past three season...will be a key to the Lions' pitching staff this season as a mid and late reliever in his fourth and final year at LMU...could occasionally make a spot start and could work in certain closing situations...a true work horse, he knows how to come in and make opposing batters hit ground balls...velocity has increased over his three years...has great experience in pitching for the Lions last three championship teams as a freshman, sophomore and junior...continues to throw submarine and improved his ball movement...likes to throw the fastball, change-up and slider.

Was second on the squad with 22 appearances, 20 in relief... worked 27.2 innings...finished with a 3.90 ERA...opponents hit .349 against the RHP...he surrendered 12 earned runs and 38 hits in finishing the regular season 1-2...in his lone start went five innings against USC, allowing nine hits two earned runs and two walks for the no decision...picked up the win in relief against Cal Poly, as the Lions won 16-13...innings were cut in half from his 1999 season.

Led the team with 24 appearances (23 in relief) and five saves...Allowed 63 hits in 48.1 innings of work as opponents hit .328 against him...surrendered 16 extra-base hits including nine doubles, three triples and four home runs...made two relief appearances against Nevada, throwing 6.2 innings and allowing 10 hits and four runs...in his 3rd career appearance against USC (2-10-99), he pitched 2.1 innings of relief and picked up his first win against the Trojans after going 0-2 against them as a freshman...improved to 2-0 with a win over UC Santa Barbara (2-13-99) where he worked 2.0 innings and struck out one after coming on in the 7th inning with the score tied 6-6...picked up his first save of the year, going 1.1 innings against No.13 Texas Tech...saved each game in a three-game series sweep over Cal State Northridge...moved his record to 3-1 after working 1.1 innings of relief at San Diego (3-7-99)...pitched 4.1 innings and struck out three in a 15-7 win at Cal State Northridge (5-12-99).

Led the team with 28 appearances during the season...ranked second on the team with a 5.80 earned run average...Second on the team with 23 relief appearances...took the win in the 12-6 upset of #7 USC (Apr. 14), pitching 5.2 innings while giving up just three runs on four hits...led the Lions to an 8-3 win over Long Beach State (Mar. 31), giving up one run and two hits during his 4.0 innings of work...picked up his first collegiate save by tossing 2.0 scoreless innings at the University of San Francisco (Apr.18)...registered his second save of the year by throwing 2.0 scoreless innings vs. Saint Mary's (May 3), in the first game of the doubleheader...in the nightcap vs. Saint Mary's (May 3), he limited the Gaels to just one run in 4.1 innings to pick up the win...finished the season with a 3-3 record on 59.0 innings of work.
