A 2013 graduate of Los Osos High School in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif... prepped under head coach Chris Romero... served as team captain in his senior season... named All-League and All-American honorable mention as a senior... named Los Osos High School Pitcher of the Year and third team All-California... finished his senior season with a 2.24 ERA with 10 wins...

Brenton Andrew Arriaga was born May 31, 1995 in Fontana, Calif... son of Karen Molina and Eleno Arriaga... father played basketball at Citrus College... has one brother, Cole... also considered Stanford, Santa Clara, and Washington, but chose LMU because of the great reputation of the baseball program, the campus' great location, and academics... a sociology major.
