2026 SEASON (LMU) Incoming freshman for the 2026 season.

HIGH SCHOOL 
Graduated from Queen Creek High School in May 2025. Played outfield and infield for four years under Head Coach Mikel Moreno in 6A. Earned a varsity letter as a sophomore and served as team captain as a sophomore, junior, and senior. Named All-City/All Area as a sophomore, junior, and senior. Won the 2024 state championship. Played club baseball with One National.

PERSONAL 
Alex was born in Mesa, Arizona and grew up in Queen Creek, Arizona. He intends to major in Engineering. Parents are Megan Johnson, Jason Gamboa, and stepmother Chrissy Gamboa. Has four siblings, Gabriel, Adrian, Anissa, and Braxton.
