Are you ready for your next athletic challenge? Come and learn what it takes to be a Lion during LMU Rowing's open tryout! We are a Division I men's and women's varsity rowing team looking for driven, talented competitors from all sports backgrounds to join our team.
No prior experience is necessary; we will teach you all that you need to know to be a successful rower. Many athletes row for the first time in college. In fact, half of the U.S. women's rowing team that won gold at the 2016 Olympics learned to row in college.
We compete against schools all over the country for the NCAA Championship. Each year, we have walk-on athletes like you tryout, make the squad, and end up on athletic scholarships--all while making a close group of friends and teammates.
