High School: McFarland is a 1997 graduate of Michigan City High School in Michigan City, IN...a four-year varsity

Personal: Sarah Katherine McFarland was born in Royal Oak, MI on July 9, 1979...the daughter of Robert and
Judith McFarland...she has one brother, Eric...her father, Robert, played collegiate baseball at the University of
Pittsburgh in the late 1960's, and her brother, Eric, played collegiate baseball for Butler University...also recruited by
Georgia, Louisiana State and Texas...names Hawai'i as her favorite vacation spot...a psychology major.
