Briefly: Jaimee Brubacher begins her second year at LMU...came through for the Lions in the playoffs...stepped up to play tremendously well on the left side...an incredible jumper...proved she can play effectively from either the left or right side...had an excellent spring...has the potential to have a break-out season and make a name for herself...a probable starter for the Lions.

At LMU: Brubacher enters her second season in the Lions' program...1999...had an incredible rookie campaign, finishing tenth all-time in kills for a freshman (186)...had a career-best 24 kills on 58 attacks against Southeast Missouri (Dec. 2)...that performance led LMU to a round one victory in the NCAA tournament...set a personal season-best of 15 digs twice on the year, first against George Washington (Sep.4) and again against Hawai'i (Sep. 24)...had a career mark of six total blocks against UC Santa Barbara (Oct. 19)...played in 101 games and averaged 1.84 kills per game...stunned San Diego State with four service aces on September 1...third on the team with 27 service aces on the year.

High School: Brubacher is a 1999 graduate of Horizon High School in Scottsdale, AZ...a four-year volleyball letterwinner...the 1998 Scottsdale Player of the Year and Northeast Valley Player of the Year...a Volleyball Magazine Freshman Fab-50 selection and third-team All-American ...named to the All-Desert Valley Region team as a junior and senior...led team to the state Final Four in 1998...honored as the Desert Valley Region Most Valuable Player...a first-team All-Arizona 5A pick following her senior campaign...served as team captain as a senior...prep coach was Valerie McKenzie.

Personal: Jaimee Susanne Brubacher was born in Newton, KS on April 8, 1981...the daughter of Michael and Joan Brubacher...has one sister, Lauren...also recruited by San Diego, Arizona and California...names ice cream as her favorite food...enjoys waterskiing and going to the beach...a former club teammate of fellow Lion Kelly Ward...an accounting major with plans to attend law school.
